Sixth Form Leavers Ball '22
Classic cars, a three-wheeled motorbike and a tractor were amongst the modes of transport students used to arrive in style at their Leavers’ Ball.
Spalding Grammar School’s sixth formers bid farewell to education with Friday’s glitzy black-tie and ball-gown bash at the Sessions House.
“The event was incredible, it was fantastic,” said head of sixth form Adriana Leadbeater. “For us as a school it’s been an emotional journey. This was the last group who had their GCSEs disrupted by Covid, and it has been extremely hard for them. So to see the boys dancing together in groups was incredible. Over the last seven years, they’ve formed a real brotherhood. It was emotional as this is the last time they’re all together and I think there were a few tears. But everybody was buzzing."
