Y13 Leavers' Ball

On Friday 24th May the 6th Form Leavers held a Black Tie Ball. As is tradition at Spalding Grammar school, this event was organised by the Students Senior Team with the help of Mme Gamble, Head of Gamlyn House, and in collaboration with Spalding High School.

The Leavers’ Ball was held at the Springfield Events and Conference Centre, Spalding, where students enjoyed a three-course meal, dancing and fireworks display.

The event was a great social success and all who attended had a really amazing time, with everyone looking their most stylish and sharing happy memories of their time at school.

For some, it was the end of a 7-year journey at SGS, but to all of them it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on their days at the school and to look forward to the new challenges ahead after their A Level results on 15 August.

We wish the Leavers all the very best for the future and look forward to welcoming them back on 16 December for the A Level Certificate Awards. They are always welcome to come back to SGS, which will forever remain their school as they are now all Alumni and members of OSMA, the Old Spaldonians and Moultonians Association.

By being a member of OSMA, students will be able to keep in touch with the life at SGS. We also would like to keep in touch with them. We are always delighted to hear from our ex-students. Some Ex-students have been back to talk to current students about their time at SGS and some have even given something back to the school, such as a careers talk, a memoire, a donation, or SGS memorabilia.
