Here you will be able to locate any information relating to upcoming exams for our students in all years.

Exam certificates can be collected from the school office by prior arrangement. Please contact Mrs Franklin (exams@spaldinggrammar.lincs.sch.uk) to agree a mutually convenient time.
Destinations 2024:
If you are not returning to SGS in September 2024 please complete one of the following Destination forms:
Year 11 - Post GCSE
Internal and external exams are held at certain times during the academic year. Outlined below are the provisional dates for formal internal and external exams for 2024-25 academic year.
- Year 11 and 13 Mock Exams (internal) 2 – 13 December 2024
- Year 10 and 13 Trial Exams (internal) 23 April – 2 May 2025
- GCSEs and GCE A Levels (external) 9 May – 25 June 2025
(Art and Language Speaking GCSE and GCE Exams will take place from the end of April)
Please note during the GCSE/GCE External exams if a student misses the exam for any reason they will not be able to retake the exam on any other date in the exam period – they will get no mark for that exam.
Year 12:
UCAT Examinations: Students need to register and apply to do UCAT exams themselves it is no longer available through school. To register and for more information about application deadlines and exam venues please visit: https://www.ucat.ac.uk/about-ucat/ucat-essentials/ (Applications close: 19 September and last test date is 26 September).
Also visit university websites for more information regarding entrance exams for such courses as medicine and law, as many now include it as part of their admission process.
Post Results Services (GCE A Levels & GCSEs):
Details: deadlines and prices for the Post Results Services available to students are outlined in the links below. If you need to request any of the Post Result Services where there is a fee, please make payment through Parentmail – which will be available from the relevant Results Day.
