A message from the Headteacher

Welcome to Spalding Grammar School.  Here we encourage all students to develop their unique qualities and talents in a supportive community.  This is a school where individuals matter.
We have high expectations in all aspects of school life:

  • high expectations for academic success – we expect everyone to work hard
  • high expectations for behaviour – we expect everyone to support each other
  • high expectations for involvement – we expect everyone to get involved with all aspects of School life.

The recent Ofsted inspection clearly recognised these qualities when it rated every aspect of student development as outstanding.

The School's principle aim is to ensure that all students have every opportunity to attain their potential – intellectually, socially and personally. The cornerstone of our approach is the strength of the relationships between staff, pupils and parents throughout our community. The friendly and orderly atmosphere combines with a stimulating academic environment to develop the qualities which lead to successful examination results, satisfying personal relationships, the correct blend of individual strengths and co-operation with others, as well as the confidence to face the challenges of the wider world.
