Today, the number of pupils at the School stands at  926. They will join the many thousands of young people for whom SGS has been the launch pad to successful lives and careers. As the school continues to flourish, we need to continually invest in the high quality environment that underpins learning and achievement.

Over £3,500,000 has been spent on new facilities since 1991 – toilets, sports hall, classrooms, technology workshops, ICT suites and Drama Studio to name but a few. The governing body has worked hard to raise around £500,000 towards these projects but there are no magic tricks and very few large benefactors so we need help, ideas, skills and know-how. The last disposable asset, the old Drill Hall, has now been sold to partly fund the next project.
