Support Video: How to Organise and Prioritise During Home Study

Sent Via ParentMail

Firstly, may I take this opportunity to echo the Headmaster’s words from last week in commending students for the way they have adapted to home study, and to also recognise your parental support in this process. This is new territory for all involved during a particularly challenging time, but overall, the adaptation period has been a hugely successful one. Thank you.

We have received some queries regarding methods to keep organised during this period, especially early in the two-week phase when most of the work is being sent through.

In addition to the initial resources provided, we have created a video to support students with organisation and prioritisation during home study. Due to GDPR, the video is only available via our internal network, and so we have asked your son/daughter to show it to you via their school account (ideally, watching it together).

The link to the video has been sent via ParentMail. You may need to copy and paste this link into your browser.

It may be timely to watch this video during the Easter break to help your son/daughter prepare for the next release of work from Monday 20th April.

Further Support Materials

We have also set up a ‘School Communications’ section to our website, where all information and guidance material is kept

If you have any further queries regarding support during the home study period, please direct your enquiries to:

Subject or work-based enquiries: to your son/daughter’s subject teacher(s)
General work-based enquiries (advice, concerns etc): to your son/daughter’s Form Tutor
Wellbeing enquiries or concerns: SGSwellbeing@spaldinggrammar.lincs.sch.uk

Wishing you all a restful and safe Easter break.
