Year 8 students have been investigating the work and style of the Italian artist Alberto Giacometti.  After producing research on Giacometti, the students embarked on the making of a 3d artefact, that reflected either a hobby or a future career. The students used a variety of soft and rigid media to make their sculptures, starting with armatures and then moving on to the ‘fleshing’ out of the figures. The students finally completed their sculptures with a dry brush effect.
