This selective Academy Grammar School is seeking a suitably-qualified Senior Science Technician. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within a Science department and in a classroom environment, and be able to manage the technical support and resource provision.
You must be a team player and have experience of working to high standards, with both staff and students. The role will also involve oversight and organisation of the other Science Technician. The week of non-term working time can be flexible and negotiable.
You should be able to show experience of advising staff and students on the use of equipment and provide health and safety guidance. There will also be responsibility for ordering and maintaining supplies, within budget; appropriate IT skills will be required. You should be NVQ3 / BTEC / A Levels or equivalent qualified, or have relevant experience, and knowledge of COSHH.
