Cover Manager

This selective Academy Grammar School is seeking a suitably-qualified Cover Manager to take responsibility for organising classroom cover for absent teachers, as well as providing cover themselves and undertaking additional administrative duties as the demands of the cover role allow.
The successful candidate will oversee the School’s permanent cover supervisor, as well as manage a bank of zero-hours supervisors. They will also have discretion to liaise with external agencies on the provision of cover where demand necessitates. Experience of supervising a classroom, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a budget are essential; knowledge of Go4Schools, SIMS and Microsoft Excel, would be an advantage.
