Welcome to Spalding Grammar School
INSPIRE - CHALLENGE – ENRICH
RESPECT – RESPONSIBILITY – RESILIENCE
A very warm welcome to Spalding Grammar School. Thank you for taking an interest in our School.
We are proud of our students and the positive contribution they make to life within the School community and beyond the School gates. To be a member of Spalding Grammar School is to be part of a community that values respect, responsibility, and resilience.
Our results at GCSE and A Level are excellent and allow students to acquire the qualifications and skills necessary to take the next steps on their own personal journey, whatever they chose for that to be. As Inspectors noted on their most recent visit, our students “achieve well and many go on to aspirational destinations to pursue their ambitions.”
We have a broad and varied extracurricular programme and every student has the opportunity to develop leadership skills and play an important part in the life of the School. This extensive provision ranges through music and the arts, sports and clubs, trips and visits, student leadership, prefectureship and more.
The School’s ethos and belief in academic rigour combined with extracurricular enrichment ensures our students develop into reflective and well-rounded individuals, attaining their full potential intellectually, socially, and personally.
Our students are well supported with their personal development and pastoral well-being by an experienced and committed Pastoral Team, who collaborate closely with academic staff to ensure each student is in the strongest possible position to reach their potential.
It is an honour and privilege to be Executive Headteacher of a school where staff join me in having the highest aspiration for every student and support our vision of academic excellence in an inspiring and enriching environment.
I hope our website will give you an insight into the quality of care and education we aim to provide for all of our students. I am confident that you will be able to see all of this for yourself when you visit the School and speak to our students and staff.
